Anything else?
My wife was admitted as an in-patient referral to Medical Assessment Unit on Sunday - the understanding was that she would be kept under observation for 24 hours. She could not be discharged on Monday as the DSN was not free. Incidentally, she is due to see a Kidney specialist at RPH on Friday. Should the DSN not prioritise her and get her discharged? How is this possible? The lady is blind and is unable to go anywhere. No one seems to know when she is going to be seen. The way she is being treated is appalling. She is now in Ward 24 - the nurses on this Ward are excellent. However, she is stuck in bed - the radio facility is not working and she can do nothing other than remain in bed. How can such a patient be treated in this manner?
