What I liked

My husband was recently a patient at Ealing Hospital on two occasions between May and September 2007. We were very impressed by the care and attention he received by the nurses and doctors on both occasions. From his admission in A&E and his stay as an inpatient the treatment and care he received was very good.

The hospital was very clean and the staff provided me and my family with regular information about his care and progress. We appreciated the multi-team meeting which was held a few days before his discharge which gave us the opportunity to ask any questions of doctors, nurses and physio staff which we found very helpful. My husband also appreciated the wide range of food that was also available. This was this first time any member of my family had been admitted to Ealing Hospital. Well done to staff at Ealing Hospital.

What could be improved

The arrangements for the ambulance transport to take him home could have been better co-ordinated by ambulance staff.
