What could be improved

In the past I went to Harold Wood hospital for blood tests. It took an average of 10-15 mins for the staff to take a blood sample. In your wonderful new Queens hospital it took 1 hour!!!

My mother has been referred for an ultra-sound by her GP. However, we are not allowed to take the referral directly to the hospital, the GP's surgery has to sent an appointment to the hospital. After 1.5 week of waiting, we rung the hospital to enquire about mum's appointment - they lost her referral! So I am going to phone up all other hospitals in the area and go to the one which makes an appointment directly if patient brings referral to them.

My husband visited the Queens hospital when he breathed in a piece of food. The hospital GP (with X-ray vision no doubt) told him there is nothing there. Guess what, he was coughing violently for about a day after-wards and coughed out a piece of meat. I and my family will in the future use another hospital at every opportunity.
