These are exciting times for service user involvement! The web is revolutionising how service users, their carers and families share their stories of care and help to make things better for everyone. Without doubt, it is having a hugely positive impact on the power of the service user voice and it doesn’t show any signs of losing momentum.

We have spent the last couple of months talking to trusts all over the country about how they can make the most of these new online tools and so the next step is to tell everyone else!

On Tuesday 16th March, we are holding our ‘Revolutionising service user involvement’ event in Sheffield. It’s a full day and is guaranteed to be lively! We will explore how Care Opinion is providing everyone with the chance to share their experience of local health services, and perhaps help to improve things for the whole community. We would never want you to sit still and be talked at for a whole day (we’re guessing you wouldn’t either) so there will be workshops, presentations and lots of opportunity to network and share your thoughts.

See our programme for more details.

We’re interested in how Care Opinion can compliment the work of LINks and 3rd Sector Organisations and will show you examples of where this is already happening.

If you are a member of (or work for) a LINk, run a service user/carer group or work for a 3rd Sector Organisation then there will be a workshop designed for you!
