Thank-you

Posted by Future Patient (as a relative), 7 months ago

My relative is recovering from major surgery and has needed regular visits from District Nurses based in South Huddersfield to dress wounds. Despite deep snow and difficult driving conditions , they have always attended with a smile and a positive attitude. This has been very much appreciated at this difficult stage of the recovery process.

District Nurses have also initiated and supervised the removal of a catheter, which I believe hospital nursing staff thoughtlessly told the patient would probably be needed for the rest of their life. I think this shows just what can be achieved given a thoughtful caring attitude from NHS Staff.

Our sincere thanks go to all local District Nurses for such a wonderful service.
