"Put at ease"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Gynaecology

I arrived on the 1.2.17 for a hysterectomy, I felt nervous but was put at ease by the staff that work there the receptionist was warm and friendly to everyone that arrived and it was 7am.

The nurses were professional and made sure that I understood everything that was happening and at what time, the anethetist and consultant arrived for a chat before the operation and I felt more at ease.

After the operation I was looked after by a lovely member of staff in recovery who made sure I was comfortable and was checking on me constantly before I was moved to the ward.

All the staff on G2 that looked after me were friendly and respectful and I received excellent care on that ward.

Thank you to all involved.
