"Excellent service- Trent Cardiac Unit"

I recently had a Cardiac Ablation performed here after a year of feeling unwell and tired and had to go off work two weeks before my procedure as just so tired and mentally drained from a constant irregular heart beat. The day after the procedure I could not believe how good my breathing was as hadn't realised it was so bad, I also for the first time in 18 months had a heart beat that seemed regular and un-noticeable as had constant awareness of odd beats for such a long time. Three weeks later I am much improved and back at my own NHS job and sleep only 8 hours at night rather than the 12 hours plus I needed into the lead up to this.

I just wanted to say the service received was excellent from pre op to post op, appointments were always on time and all staff from domestics, support/nursing and doctors was excellent and everything explained well.
