"Wonderful midwife"

Our son was induced on ABC ward. From start to finish all of the midwives and consultants we encountered were wonderful. The midwife, Jo, who delivered our son was wonderful throughout my rather intense short labour due to me being sensitive to the drug used to induce. She was supportive and kept my partner and I informed and involved during the delivery. We had a scary moment at the end where our sons shoulders got stuck but Jo was wonderful - she had support in the room within seconds and they managed to free him before we knew it. After the delivery I felt very well cared for and we also had time to settle with our son as well as take a much needed shower before being transferred to a ward for overnight observation. The entire team we met and dealt with on labour suite and ABC were efficient, friendly and professional. Whilst on labour suite I cannot offer any suggestion for improvement as the all round experience was positive and encouraging. So from my partner Ben and myself, not to mention baby Henry, I'd like to say thank you - to Jo and the other QMC maternity staff we dealt with for such a lovely experience, positive memories and quick action in delivering our son.
