We are convinced that patients’ experiences – good or bad – are essential to improving the NHS.
And the NHS does listen to what people say on Patient Opinion. We know this because hospitals tell us how they have improved services as a direct result of feedback on the site.

Not every story gets a reply. Sometimes the story is a Thank you. Sometimes the hospital needs to check whether a bad experience was a one-off or due to something more serious. And of course there are still, sadly, hospitals that aren't that good at listening to what patients have to say.
