"I got the help and support I needed"

About: Community Mental Health / Perinatal & Infant Mental Health Community Nurses (Angus)

(as the patient),

I went years without a diagnosis until I had been put with the perinatal team. Once I had got the diagnosis I was able to start overcoming the things that I had wondered and worried about all my life, wondering if it was something wrong or just something else 😔 but thanks to Karan and doctor Day I got the help and support I needed.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on your recent experience regarding your involvement with the Tayside Perinatal Mental Health Team.

It means a lot to us to hear that the team have had a role in helping you in receive a diagnosis to help you make sense of some of the challenges you had been experiencing, and to support you to start overcoming them. Karen and Dr Day will be pleased to hear that you have found their help and support valuable and I will pass this on along with your thanks.
